Our tallest native tree, the almighty Kahikatea, inhabits the lowland forests and wetlands of the North, South & Rakiura (Stewart Islands) of Aotearoa. These unique habitats of irreplaceable ecological value act as carbon sinks, by lowering the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere and sequestering it underground.
'Kahikatea biosphere' is a limited edition, fine art reproduction print of an original watercolour painting which was a finalist in the Zonta Female Art Awards 2023.
